About the Prep Optional Regional Invitational Championship
The regional guidelines are here for you to view. These guidelines have been finalized for this year's competition and will not change until a committee is convened and reviews the rules after the competition. The only thing that will be added to the site is possible clarifications so please join the forum and give us your input.
Qualification. This first year, any athlete who qualifies to their state meet is eligible to attend the regional invitational championship.
Team. We are proud to offer three forms of team championships.
- Each session, team awards will be given for any eligible club that has entered with three or more athletes.
- A single club grand champion will be awarded for each level combining all sessions.
- The top six athletes based on their state meet scores from each state by each level will be designated as the state team. Out of the six athletes for this team competition, five scores count.
All clubs will compete by session. Levels will not be broken across multiple sessions.

This competition marks the first regional event where people in the audience with a WiFi enabled cell phone, PDA, or laptop computer will be able to enjoy real-time results!
Vendors! The large space of the BancorpSouth Arena allows us to bring in vendors from all over — Specialty Booths, T-Shirt, and Professional Photographer to name a few.
